Box Tops are small rectangles found on hundreds of product packages – see here (see attached) for a product list. Each Box Top is worth $.10 for our school, but only if it is intact and not expired. Cut off your Box Tops and turn them in for the coordinators to count and submit. Last year we made over $1600 for Woodside!
Time for a Box Tops Double Drawing Contest!
Drawing #1: Count out Box Tops in quantities of 10, and put into a small plastic sandwich baggie. With a Sharpie, write your child’s name on the baggie & the number “10”, and turn the baggie into the office. Each baggie of 10 Box Tops is an entry into this drawing for several small prizes.
Drawing #2: If you have 50 Box Tops, enter to win one of five larger prizes! Put 50 Box Tops in a single small baggie, with a Sharpie write your child’s name and the number “50” on the baggie, and turn it into the office. Each baggie of 50 Box Tops is an entry into this drawing for a few larger prizes.
Any baggies not clearly marked will be put in Drawing #1. Have a “bonus certificate” that is more than 50 Box Tops? If it expires in 2018 or later, feel free to keep it for the next contest. Online ordering has opened for yearbooks for the current school year. Yearbooks cost $13 and can be personalized (optional) with your child’s picture on the cover for an additional $5. To place an order, visit https://ybpay.lifetouch.com and enter our school code is: 11663718.

Picture retake day is scheduled for Wednesday, October 11, beginning at 9 AM. If you missed the first picture day, you can order online using the link below or by sending a note with your child requesting an order form.

Please join us on Friday morning, October 20, 2017 for our
annual DONUTS WITH DADS event.
EVENT IS FOR FAMILIES OF WOODSIDE ONLY!
On Friday, September 29th, each grade will participate together for 15 minutes during their lunch recess. (Exact times for each grade will be sent home next week). The object is to KEEP MOVING for 15 minutes and have fun! Families are encouraged to attend and cheer their child on during their run. Make signs, bring noise makers, and have fun!
Remember, if each child collects $30 we will reach our goal of $20,000! We have lots of great prizes starting with just one pledge. You can earn even more prizes for collecting $30, $85 or $150. Our TOP FUNDRAISING STUDENTS will receive Target gift cards!
Please turn all pledges into your teacher by Friday morning. Make all checks payable to Woodside Home and School. If you have more than one child please send separate checks if possible. If sending one check, please clearly indicate on the check how much should be applied to each child to make prize distribution run smoothly!

Arrive early to cheer on your kids and try to carpool, ride a bike, or walk as parking is always packed for this fun event.

Another school year is coming to a close, and YOU raised over $1600 for Woodside in Box Tops and Labels this year. Woo-hoo! Now is the final call for Campbell’s Labels for Education as August is the end of their program. Get all your Labels and Box Tops in NOW for our summer submission – but first recycle any expired Box Tops. Keep saving Box Tops over the summer for a big start to the 2017-2018 school year!
