Woodside Family Fun Night planning is underway and we need your help!! The silent auction coordinators are looking for donations and volunteers to help collect donations from area businesses.  Do you have an item to donate or have a connection to a local business that would be interested in donating an item to our silent auction?

Young Rembrandts Summer 2018

This late winter-early spring drawing session is a perfect opportunity for your smart and innovative child to grow their right brain, creative ability for a future that requires that skill more than ever before! Robots, humming-birds, ice cream and kangaroos are just a few of the exciting new lessons planned to energize your child’s after school schedule…enroll now!

Class Schedule: Thursdays, 3:30-4:30 PM. March 8th-April 26th

Tuition: $84.00 (6-week session)

Box Tops Contest Winner – February 2017

Thanks to all who sent in Box Tops for the recent contest – it was a close one. Congrats to the winning class: Mrs. Pilecky’s class! The real winner is Woodside Elementary as the 5,500+ Box Tops earned $550+ for the school. Special shout out to Mrs. Supa’s class as none of their Box Tops were expired! Spring Fest 2018

Families are invited to a day of free fun that emphasizes healthy living March 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Spring Fest–Better Together at Hamilton High School.

Entertainment includes Irish dancers, a mariachi band, magician, balloon-twisting clown, mascots and the Sheriff’s Department K-9 unit. Hands-on children’s activities include bulb planting, indoor inflatable speed pitch, a cheer clinic and bike helmet-fittings. Check out the Spring Fest website for more information.

Announcing February 2018 All School Skate!

DATE:     Sunday, February 25, 2018 (Grades K-5)

TIME:     4:00-6:00 pm

COST:     No charge for Woodside students

  • Skating fee for one parent per student is also included no charge
  • Includes skate rental of regular skates, speed skates, or roller blades
  • You are welcome to bring your own skates
  • No charge for observers
  • Skate mates are an additional charge

February 2018 Box Tops Contest

BOX TOPS CONTEST! CLASSROOM PRIZES!

You can WIN fun new items for your classroom! Turn in Box Tops to your classroom collection box by Monday, February 19th, and the classroom with the most Box Tops collected will win a gift card for new indoor recess items.

You can make our counting easier by throwing out expired Box Tops or those missing expiration date, putting trimmed Box Tops in a small zip-top plastic bag, and writing your teacher’s name on the bag. We use those little bags to submit the Box Tops for money for our school.

REMEMBER, THE LAST DAY TO TURN IN IS MONDAY, FEBRUARY 19. Turn in those Box Tops early and often. Thank you, and may the odds be ever in your favor!

Happy New Year! The Teacher Refreshment Committee is planning a dinner for the teachers during parent/teacher conferences on Thursday, February 8th. We need your help with making or buying food and supplies, as well as assistance with set-up and clean-up for this meal.
