February 2018 Box Tops Contest

BOX TOPS CONTEST! CLASSROOM PRIZES!

You can WIN fun new items for your classroom! Turn in Box Tops to your classroom collection box by Monday, February 19th, and the classroom with the most Box Tops collected will win a gift card for new indoor recess items.

You can make our counting easier by throwing out expired Box Tops or those missing expiration date, putting trimmed Box Tops in a small zip-top plastic bag, and writing your teacher’s name on the bag. We use those little bags to submit the Box Tops for money for our school.

REMEMBER, THE LAST DAY TO TURN IN IS MONDAY, FEBRUARY 19. Turn in those Box Tops early and often. Thank you, and may the odds be ever in your favor!

February 2018 Teacher Refreshments

Happy New Year! The Teacher Refreshment Committee is planning a dinner for the teachers during parent/teacher conferences on Thursday, February 8th. We need your help with making or buying food and supplies, as well as assistance with set-up and clean-up for this meal.

January Home & School Meeting Special Event

Superintendent Dr. Mielke to Present at the Next Home & School Meeting

The January 9th Home & School meeting is fast approaching and we are excited to announce that this meeting will feature a presentation by Hamilton School District Superintendent Dr. Paul Mielke. He will present important information regarding the upcoming School Referendum scheduled for February 20th. So that we have enough seats for the event, we are asking that you RSVP to attend this meeting. Box Tops and More Update – November 2017

Thanks to all who submitted for the last Box Tops contest. Woodside will receive a check for $1362.60! Way to go!

Special thanks to all those who took the time to get rid of their expired Box Tops. This time there were more than 3,000 expired Box Tops we had to recycle before we could count the 14,000+ we could submit. By purging your submissions of the expired Box Tops, you make a monumental task a little bit easier. Thanks!

Keep collecting those Box Tops over the holidays, and watch for the next contest in 2018!

Daisy Troop 11179 Book Drive

Book Drive for Low-Income School

Daisy Troop 11179 (Woodside 5K)  is organizing a Book Drive to help build home libraries for the students of Green Bay Avenue elementary school, located in Milwaukee.   The drive will run from November 13th through December 14th.  Bins will be placed in each Woodside Elementary classroom to drop off books.  All gently used children books for ages 3-12 are appreciated.  The books will be delivered to the students before the holiday break.

Culver’s Night – November 2017

Marcus Movie Fundraiser Fall 2017

Marcus Movie Fundraiser is Underway!

Complete some holiday shopping before Black Friday this year- and support Woodside Home & School! Tickets, gift cards*, and gift certificates are on sale now through November 21st.

There are three ways to get FREE stuff:
1. Get a $5 snack cash coupon with each purchase of a $25 gift card.
2. Get a $3 snack cash coupon with every two tickets purchased.
3. Get 2 free tickets with every order of $300 or more.

Orders may be submitted via email or sent into school. All orders, as well as checks (made payable to “Woodside Home & School”), are due on Tuesday, November 21st. Please make sure to include your child’s name and teacher with your order as it will come home with your child on Wednesday, November 29th.
