First Ever: Woodside Panera Night!

For the first time ever, Woodside is hosting a night out at Panera Bread in Menomoneee Falls! On Thursday, March 30th between 4:00pm and 8:00pm,  join your fellow Woodside friends for a night out at the Panera Bread located at W176 N9340 Rivercrest Drive, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051.

If we can get 50 Woodside Families to attend, 20% of the net sales that evening will go to Woodside!

Here is the best part, no need to print a piece of paper and bring it in. Show them this flyer when you place your order, and Woodside will get credit!

April Traditional Table

You probably already know this, but our school offers a wonderful grocery program called The Traditional Table. All the products are raised, grown or produced with whole foods and no artificial ingredients or GMOs. We work directly with farmers, producers, and wholesalers so our prices are LESS THAN RETAIL! If you haven’t tried this program yet, you still have TWO more chances to help our school earn extra money!

The April order is due Tuesday, March 28. Please order at www.awhatmom.com/woodside and then send your check into school by March 28. Pick up orders at school on Thursday, April 6 from 4-5 pm in the Gym.

Please note…there will be NO LATE PICKUPS available this month.

If you don’t order in April, there will be one more chance. The final Traditional Table order will have pick up the first week of May. Sadly, due to low participation, this program will not return for the 2017-2018 school year. I am proud to say this homegrown fundraiser has earned over $6500 for Woodside and $11,000 for 3 district schools since it started 4.5 years ago! Thank you to everyone who has supported the program through ordering and volunteering at pick ups!

Spring 2017 Marcus Theatres Fundraiser

Get your movie tickets for Spring Break- while supporting Woodside Home & School!  Tickets, gift cards*, and gift certificates will be for sale 3/13 – 3/24.

How can you get FREE stuff?

  • For every two tickets ordered, get a $3 snack cash voucher to use at concessions.
  • Order over $300 and get 2 free tickets!

All order forms and checks (made payable to “Woodside Home & School”) should be sent to school by Friday, March 24th for delivery via kid mail on Friday, April 7th.  Please make sure to write your child’s name, as well as teacher, on the order form.

Another ColorCycle Donation


Earlier this year, we announced that we are now participating in the Crayola ColorCycle program. During the 2016/2017 school year, we will be collecting dried markers of any type or brand for the Crayola ColorCycle program. They take our used markers and have them transformed into clean-burning fuel, rather than sending them to the landfill.

And, we just donated another HUGE amount of markers! We have collected over 13 POUNDS of MARKERS – about 650 markers!!!  If you think about how little one marker weighs, 13 pounds is really a lot! Amazing job everyone!


Book Fair: Spring 2017

Book fair needs your help!

We are currently looking for volunteers for the Happy Camper Spring Scholastic Book Fair! This is our biggest and best fair of the year and we need YOUR help to make it “S’more” fun for the students and staff at Woodside! Volunteers are needed to help with setting up & running the book fair – morning, afternoon and evening shifts available. We’d appreciate your help!

Family Fun Night 2017 Coordinator & Volunteer Positions

Family Fun Night is in serious need of help in several key areas:
  1. Silent Auction Coordinator: We are looking for someone to ASSIST with Silent Auction Coordination this year with the intent of taking it over next year. Duties include reviewing and revising our auction list, coordinating volunteers, contacting businesses for donations, organizing donations, coordinating the Silent Auction during Family Fun Night, and ensuring all winners receive their items after the event.   2. Concessions Coordinator: Our current coordinator will be unavailable the evening of Family Fun Night. We are in need of someone that can assist with purchasing concessions before the event, work with Woodside staff to organize the concession area, and coordinate volunteers the night of the event.   3. Raffle Basket Assembly: We are transitioning from grade-level to CLASS raffle baskets this year and need volunteers to assemble each basket. This is something that can be done in the comfort of your home! Sign up at http://signup.com/go/p7bd1w
  4. Silent Auction Volunteers: We are also in immediate need of several volunteers that are able to contact businesses to request donations and/or pick up donations. Each volunteer will be responsible for contacting no more than ten (10) businesses. Contacts and pickups can be completed at ANY TIME between now and the dates specified on each signup (the dates on signup.com indicate the due date of each task).
