The Traditional Table is a fundraiser where Woodside makes up to 20% of the sales from something you all have to buy every week…groceries!! Only, these aren’t your regular grocery store groceries…these are organically raised & grown staples like pasture-raised meat, sprouted grain bread, wild caught tuna and raw honey (just to name a few!)! And the prices are not inflated so we can raise money..the prices are at or below retail!

Orders are due Tuesday, Feb 9. Just browse (and then shop) at www.awhatmom.com/woodside. Place your order and then send a check in to school to complete your order. Then pick up your groceries at Woodside on Thursday, Feb 18. And tell your friends and neighbors! You don’t have to have a child in this school to participate! Spring Book Fair In Danger of Being Cancelled!

The Woodside Spring Book Fair is tentatively scheduled for March 21-23rd, but will need to be cancelled if Coordinators are not found soon.

This is one of the most loved events by students each year – Home & School gives EVERY CHILD $5 to spend on a brand new book. Training will be provided and the dates are flexible and can be moved to accommodate schedules.

If you (and a friend or two) are willing to help with this initiative, please contact Mindy Steighner at msteighner@uwalumni.com or 262-372-4418 as soon as possible.

Box Tops And More Contest Time!

boxtopsfeA new contest for Box Tops And More starts on Monday Feb. 1 and runs through Monday Feb. 22. The classroom with the largest number of submissions will win fun new board games and supplies for indoor recesses!

Both “Box Tops For Education” box tops and “Labels For Education” UPCs count towards this contest. Click here for a list of eligible Box Tops products, and click here for a list of eligible Labels For Education products.

A few things to know:

  • Box Tops and Labels do NOT need to be trimmed, just put them in a sandwich size plastic bag or small envelope and give them to your child to put in his/her classroom box.
  • Please include the ENTIRE UPC/BARCODE for Labels For Education, not just the “points” number.
  • Please do NOT send in expired Box Tops.
  • We are no longer able to submit any other kind of label such as milk caps, Coke rewards, Tyson labels, aluminum pop tabs, etc. Watch after the contest for information on how you can earn extra cash for your school other than with Box Tops and Labels.

Remember, Monday, Feb. 22 is the end of the contest. Bring those Box Tops and Labels in to school and earn fun prizes!
