Woodside Home & School is a parent/teacher group which helps fund raise and coordinate exciting events for the families of Woodside Elementary School part of Hamilton School District located in Sussex, Wisconsin.

Through great partnerships between parents and staff, Woodside Home and School enhances the children’s learning environment by providing support to staff, students and the entire school program; organizing events, enabling communication throughout the school community, and providing financial support.

Young Rembrandts 2019 Fall Session

Drawing Classes for Kids at Woodside!

Come join us after school for our Fall 1 Session. Back-to-school is in full swing at Young Rembrandt’s. Students will strengthen their marker skills as they draw a detailed gumball ma-chine. We’ll travel back in time to the age of the pharaohs as we illustrate a decorative Egyptian headdress. Sign up today!

Summer Tutoring

Do you have a student in need of tutoring help in math, reading, or writing? Or maybe a student in need of some summer practice to keep their skills up for the incoming school year? If so, I can help!

I’d be glad to offer my help in order for your student to be more successful in their classes and prepare for next year!

Marcus Movie Tickets/Gift Cards on sale now through May 31st!!

Heading to the movies?  Planning for the summer blockbusters or those extra hot days, or looking for thank-you or birthday gifts?  Consider purchasing your Marcus tickets and gift cards here (gift cards also accepted by FANDAGO) – you will save money and support Woodside Home & School!  Additionally, orders will include $3 Snack Cash for every 2 tickets purchased – so stock up now!! Information about 4th grade celebration

Parents of 4th Graders: June 5th is going to be a day of looking back, looking forward and celebrating both!  From approximately 9:00-11:30 a.m we will have an opportunity to come together as a grade at Woodside for games, yearbook signing, memory making at a photo booth, and a pizza lunch with a fun dessert.  After that, the students will board a bus and head to HHS for the Panther Premiere.  The event will bring together the 4th grade students from all four elementary schools to play games, watch ComedySportz and begin to mingle together prior to entering Silver Spring Intermediate School next fall.  In order to make this day a blast for our kids we are going to need parent help on June 4th with decorations and set-up and June 5th with the planned activities. Please watch for a sign up very soon!

May Home and School Meeting

We are excited to announce that Waukesha County Sherriff Deputy Gary Kelly will be the guest speaker at our May 1st meeting. The meeting will be from 6:30-7:45 in the LGA. FREE Family Fun Activity Night

1st of its kind! Woodside Kids – grab your moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, aunt, uncles, etc. for a very unique, inter-generational opportunity to draw together as a family (with NO experience necessary). On Wednesday evening, February 27, from 6-7:30, in the the Woodside Multipurpose room, we are excited to be hosting an event for all ages (assuming you can handle a pencil – children under five will likely need help).
